Welcome to Mrs. Hamilton's Third Grade Site.

General Overview:

Math Homework is assigned Monday thru Thursday.

Students have a Weekly Poem to memorize.

Students should read at least 15-20 minutes at home with a partner (adult, sibling, stuffed animal, etc.) or to themselves in honor of our Journey Through Books Program.  On Mondays grade 3 can report to the library to talk about their books.

Students should also practice their math facts on the Reflex Math Website 4-5 times a week.

On Monday, I assign a weekly story to select students in the Collections For Young Scholars (CYS) Reading Anthology.  The story and comprehension questions are to be completed by Friday.

At the beginning of each month, I assign a Book Report.  This is due by the end of that month.  No book report is assigned in December or June.

Any work that is not finished in school, needs to be completed at home and brought back to school the next day.  If it has a "T" at the top of the paper, that means we went over it as a class together with the teacher and the students may keep that at home.
