PHS Principal's Page - Robert E. Littlefield, M.Ed.

Dear students, parents, and friends of Portsmouth High School,

My name is Robert Littlefield and I am proud to serve as the principal of Portsmouth High School since the fall of 1998. I have witnessed many changes on our campus during my time here: a major renovation in 2000, the addition of our field house in 2006, and our brand new outdoor athletic facilities that opened this month.  The biggest change, however, has been how technology has transformed our learning and communication.

It is my hope that everyone will take advantage of this web page, individual teacher web pages, the ASPEN parent portal, and our email system to stay apprised of student progress and events at our school.

At Portsmouth High School we believe in Patriot PRIDE, the five core values that lay at the heart of a successful school and in each successful student:

Perseverance: We accept challenges and work our way through them.
Respect: We respect ourselves, others, and our school.
Innovation: With an eye to the future, we are constantly looking to improve.
Dedication: We stay true to the task, keeping distractions and obstacles out of our way.
Engagement: Everyone is connected and participates in a learning community.

If you have any questions or concerns about Portsmouth High School, please do not hesitate to contact me through email or by calling the school.

Yours in learning,

Robert Littlefield, principal
