PHS Principal's Page - Robert E. Littlefield, M.Ed.

Dear students, parents, and friends of Portsmouth High School,

My name is Robert Littlefield and I have been the proud principal of our school since the fall of 1998. Perhaps the most significant change I have seen in my tenure here is the addition of digital communication between the school and the home. Using this web page, the Aspen parent portal, and our email system, I hope to forge a true partnership between the school and the home that will enhance the educational experience of our students and increase achievement.

At Portsmouth High School we are serious about our mission and we believe the mission expresses our core values and beliefs about learning. We ask our students to remember these five tenets of our mission:

Community: We are a community of learners. That means we are all in this together and we are all learning.

Achievement: We take advantage of our opportunites to learn and accomplish every day.

Respect: We believe we should respect ourselves and others in every thing we do.

Excellence: We are committed to giving an excellent effort in every thing we do.

Success: Living our mission will bring success for our individual students and for our school.

If you have any questions or concerns about Portsmouth High School, please do not hesitate to contact me through email or by calling the school.

Yours in learning,

Robert Littlefield, principal
